We didn’t have any plans this weekend. We did have to get our house ready to have pictures taken so Saturday was spent with lots of cleaning. It’s actually kind of nice to have a reason to have the house completely clean… there is nothing better than a clean house!
Well, it’s now Sunday… and it’s not that clean anymore. Haha. It’s still pretty clean though… so now I am just wishing for more warm weather so we can get some serious cleaning done! Anyway, before I went to work on Saturday the kids spent some quality time with daddy… who in turn was enjoying his Valentine’s day gift, a new DroidX. Needless to say, he has been completely entertained with it!
Sunday was not much different. Sometimes, I wish there was more to do around here on a Sunday. But it worked out into a do-nothing kind of day. Note how Isaac has to sleep with his dragon. He loves it… so stinking cute!
Edward decided to sleep away his morning, so for quiet time he got to hang out with mom and dad.
You can see how our afternoon was being spent… 40 year old virgin on in the background. I could watch this movie once a week and never tire of it. Hilarious.
Ezra spends his quiet time playing with Awesome. Him and the cat get along great! So cute.
We played some board games for awhile… always a fun time in our house!
This afternoon Clay informed me that his phone said it was 41 degrees outside. Sounded like Spring to us!!! So we took to the roads… all the way to Redbox to pick up a movie.
What did we learn on this wonderful Spring walk? First… I can’t wait for the snow to melt. Second… walks can really make us all happier. Third… Forty degrees isn’t exactly summer and I should at least have dry hair before attempting a walk. I guess after our recent –30 degrees, forty seems like a hot summer… Well, not quite but much better!!
